Upon arrival at Alpha Skydiving Center, all jumpers will be required to fill out a registration form and sign a liability release (waiver) before jumping. This release will verify that the person understands that there are risks involved in skydiving and that the participant freely agrees to accept those risks.

ALPHA SKYDIVING CENTER

Skydive the Dream of Flight

Alpha Skydiving Center offers the safest and most efficient way to learn to skydive.
AFF training is a program in which certified instructors accompany the student in freefall holding onto the student’s harness at first while the student demonstrates certain skills. Since the student is wearing his own parachute, he must be trained to handle emergency procedures as well as landing procedures.

Everything starts with the First Jump Course (FJC), the 5-7 hour ground school portion of the AFF training program. After students complete the classroom objectives, they will be ready to make their first freefall skydive, wearing their own parachute which we provide. They will be jumping with USPA (United States Parachute Association) certified Instructors from 10,000ft – 13,000ft.

REQUIREMENTS

    • AFF student must be 18 years or older.
    • You must have some form of valid photo ID with you.
    • Weigh no more than 220lbs.
    • No consuming drugs or alcohol on the day of your jump.
    • Everyone must obey Airport and dropzone rules.
    • If you have any questions or concerns regarding your ability to safely skydive, consult your doctor before you decide to jump.

ACCELERATED FREEFALL PROGESSION

AFF has 7 levels of progression

    • AFF Level A (circle of awareness and practice deployments)
    • AFF Level B (heading control and legs extension)
    • AFF Level C (release dive)
    • AFF Level D1 (right and left 90-degree turns)
    • AFF Level D2 (right and left 180 and 360-degree turns)
    • AFF Level E1 (right and left barrel-rolls)
    • AFF Level E2 (back flip and front flip)

Each jump in the AFF progression requires that the student successfully demonstrate a progressively more challenging series of maneuvers such as those described above. The skills mastered on each jump are carried forward to the next jump and demonstrated repeatedly, which produces a proficient, skilled and safe skydiver.

COACH JUMPS
